Egyptian luxury loofahs are a great exfoliating tool and addition to your homemade soap.
A loofah is a fibrous plant seed pod. The loofah plant is a member of the cucurbit family, a group of plants that also includes pumpkins and cucumbers. It grows as an annual flowering vine. From the pollinated flowers grow cylindrical green fruits that eventually develop into a seed pod filled with many intertwined cellulose fibres.
When fully mature, loofahs become quite tough. This makes them perfect for exfoliating, cleaning hard surfaces and even painting!
Their delicate but firm texture makes them a wonderful addition to soap making. Adding Egyptian loofah to your soap gives it extra character. Thanks to its unique fibres, loofah is great for scrubbing the body and leaves skin wonderfully smooth, perfect for showering and bathing.
Your customers can cut it into small pieces as needed.
